Pasta of the Week
Fusilli originate from southern Italy and owe their distinctive shape to the craftsmanship of traditional pasta makers.
The name comes from fuso – meaning “spindle” – because the dough was once wrapped around a knitting needle or spindle to create the characteristic spiral form.
Their dense, twisted structure makes Fusilli perfect for holding sauces – especially creamy or hearty varieties with vegetables or meat.

Höchi Post & Pastawerk
In a delightful mix of newsletter and magazine, we share not only little kitchen secrets, fascinating facts about regional products, and personal cooking tips, but also news about all things culinary and gourmet.
You’ll also receive exclusive offers from the Pastawerk and special treats that invite you to taste, enjoy, and discover something new.

Cook the pasta al dente. In a sauté pan, reduce a bit of butter, cream, and some of the pasta water, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Aromat.
Add pitted olives, garlic, chili oil, and the pasta, tossing everything together. Shortly before serving, add halved cherry tomatoes and arugula. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper, pine nuts, and Parmesan.
Buon appetito!
