Winter Magic at the Höchi

Enjoy nature, fresh mountain air and the magical winter atmosphere at Höchi’s Winter Magic — perfect for romantics, nature lovers and fans of exceptional cuisine!
Our garden has been transformed into a small enchanted forest with an open fire, mulled wine, punch and roasted chestnuts. From 3:00 p.m., it’s the ideal cosy stop or rustic aperitif before dinner.
And there’s more: For a romantic walk from Hirzel up to Höchi and/or back, we’ve prepared lanterns to light your way.
Magic Garden
As a special highlight for the cold season, we haven’t put our garden to sleep — instead, we’ve transformed it into a cosy, atmospheric “enchanted forest” with an open fire, mulled wine, punch and roasted chestnuts.
Our garden is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. — perfect for a relaxed stop or a rustic aperitif before dinner.

With Höchi’s Winter Magic, we want to bring together everything that makes the cold season on the Höchi so special: the unique atmosphere, the calm of nature around us, the cosy warmth and the joy of good food and drink.

Cheese Fondue
Your winter Höchi experience begins in Hirzel. Let yourself be enchanted by a magical winter landscape — and indulge in the culinary delights waiting for you on the Höchi.
How it works:

Reserve your lantern via our “lantern hotline” at +41 44 729 91 54. We’ll let you know where to pick it up.

Park your car in the parking area by the church in Hirzel.

Pick up your lantern and enjoy a 20-minute walk to Höchi, guided by its warm, atmospheric glow. At the top, mulled wine, punch and our winter dishes await you!

Return the lantern either on the Höchi or take it back to your car and leave it where you picked it up.
If you only need the lantern for the walk back, simply inform us when calling the lantern hotline — we’ll have it ready for you at the restaurant.
